COLOURPOP LIPPIE STIX SWATCHES + REVIEW (Plus how to purchase international brands WITHOUT a credit card)

The title is pretty self explanatory so let's just jump right in, I have a total of 12 shades in different finishes (I had a few more but gave them away cause I didn't like some of the shades on me) So here they are;

Grunge (matte)

Reddish brown with a neutral undertone

Taurus (Kathleen Lights x Colourpop Collab) (matte)

warm brown with hints of a yellow base (fav)

LBB (matte)

A mix of purple and pink, not quite a fuchsia because it has more purple than that (Fav) 

This shade is the only one that stains my lips after wearing it even if its after a short time, just something to keep in mind. 

Creature (matte)

Deep burgundy with a hint of red and purple

Choker (creme)

Light peachy nude 

Cookie (matte) 

Peachy nude with hints of pink

Tootsi (matte) 

Light mauve-y pinky nude with a slight grey tinge 

Aquarius (Kathleen Lights x Colourpop) (creme)

Light beige neutral nude

Lumiere (Kathleen Lights x Colourpop) (matte)

The perfect everyday pink with just a little bit of purple (fav)

Brink (matte)

The purrfect peach nude, true peach (FAV)

Super bright,hot pink

Blue based red with a slightly warm undertone

So those were the actual product and their swatches on my lips, firstly can we talk about how each of these are only $5 USD ??? That is basically RM21 for a lipstick (hoenessly we spend more on food) These lippie stix are small and compact, they're light so they're easy to travel with, they smell like vanilla cookies (!!!) and they are incredibly comfortable on the lips (and did I mention RM21 ?!?)

As someone who is really sensitive to smell, I can honest to gosh say that these smell amazing, like I can't even stand the smell of the Kylie Cosmetics liquid lipsticks so trust me when I say these smell like a vanilla DREAM. The bad news though is that when Colourpop has huge sales and they need to get many units out some of the lippie stix won't have a smell which honestly hurts my heart but because the formula and colour pay off is so amazing, I forgive you Colourpop.

The mattes are my fav because even though they're "matte" they still have some moisture to them and they're not like crumbling off your lips/sahara dessert dry namsayin ? They remind me a lot of the MAC matte lipsticks but slightly more moisturizing. They last quite a long time on my lips but of course dock a couple hours off that if you're eating, they do transfer but I personally don't really mind since they're so moisturizing and comfortable.

The creme finish is sooo creamy on the lips I swear it feels like they MELT the second they touch your lips, I swear I'm not exaggerating, of course because it is a more creamy formula it doesn't last as long as the mattes do. I like to wear them alone since they're pigmented enough but sometimes I like to dab them at the centre of my lips on top of another lipstick (usually MAC Taupe or Velvet Teddy)

For those of you who don't own a credit card but have a debit card, don't fret ! Here's how you can buy international brands/foreign currency goods using your debit card 

It doesn't matter what bank you use it's the same procedure for all the banks, for Maybank users, once when you logged in, scroll all the way down to "Card Management" click that, click on "Overseas ATM Facility" and then set a duration (the max is exactly 1 year) and then you're good to go ! For other banks I'm pretty sure the process is similar but if it isn't, alls good yo ! All you have to do is call your bank and request to purchase international products, and you should be good. 

If you don't have either, you can always buy Colourpop products from instagram shops or carousel, just make sure they're 100% authentic and they don't mark up the price too high, if it's more than RM30, WALK AWAY that's more than RM9 profit ! And if you buy more than 1, that ish accumulates gurl.
